德国自然科学博士、美国博士后,欧美留学工作10余年,现任湖北大学二级教授、博士生导师,湖北省先进光电转换与光电催化材料国际合作基地主任。入选教育部人才计划、湖北省人才计划特聘教授、省特聘专家、省新世纪***人才工程、武汉市学科带头人计划;主持湖北省自然科学基金创新研究群体、省高校优秀中青年科技创新团队、省***人才项目;荣获中国产学研合作创新奖、湖北省青年科技奖、省有突出贡献中青年专家、武汉市***专家称号。主要研究领域/方向包括:氧化物宽禁带半导体薄膜及紫外光电与功率电子器件;氧化物功能材料及其光电转换与能源应用;低维纳米材料设计制备与新器件探索。主持承担国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金和湖北省重大技术专项等30余项研究开发项目。至今发表学术论文270余篇,其中一作/通讯作者发表Nature Mater.、Nat. Commun.、Phys. Rev. Lett.、Mat. Sci. Eng. R等SCI收录论文200余篇,被SCI论文引用6000余次,入选2022年全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单。申请国内外专利70余项,获授权国际发明专利2项、中国发明专利40余项。兼任中国硅酸盐学会测试技术分会高温测试技术委员会委员、中国仪表功能材料学会电子元器件关键材料与技术专业委员会资深常务委员、湖北省微纳电子材料与器件重点实验室学术委员会委员、工业废弃物绿色产业化应用技术湖北省工程研究中心技术委员会委员、湖北省高级专家协会会员,Springer-Nature "Surf. Sci. Tech."、《表面技术》杂志编委,Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Chem. Mater., Appl. Phys. Lett.等30余种国际期刊常约审稿人,国家人才计划、科技奖励、重点研发计划、自然科学基金评审专家。培养研究生先后获中国硅酸盐学会优秀博士论文奖、湖北省优秀硕士论文奖,多人次获国家研究生奖学金;培养本科生获中国国际“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛全国银奖,湖北省金奖、铜奖等奖励。

1)宽禁带半导体材料与光电器件:主要集中在ZnO薄膜的掺杂改性,即多元合金(ZnOS、MgZnO、MgZnOS)带隙调节工程和P型导电;SnO2、Ga2O3纯相及合金薄膜的制备与表征,及其在(深)紫外光电探测器的应用开发。

2)低维钙钛矿材料及应用:主要包括新型有机无机杂化钙钛矿、全无机钙钛矿二维材料、量子点、量子线、量子阱的制备、低维物理性质与光电器件探索。

3) 氧化物表面物理与化学:ZnO、TiO2单晶各种取向表面原子结构及无机小分子(H2O,H2,O2)吸附过程与机理;热致变色VO2薄膜的外延生长及MIT相变机理探索、掺杂改性与应用开发。

4) 金属纳米粒子-石墨烯复合材料可控制备、电催化性能及其在燃料电池电极催化剂和化学、生物传感器等的应用研究。

5)铁电光伏与介电储能:主要是设计与制备无机钙钛矿薄膜太阳能电池、无铅与反铁电储能材料与器件。
